We ask that guests respect the hotel fittings and fixtures. Damages done to the room(s) and spoilage to linens and towels will incur charges and will be charged to the lead guest / and or the booker.
COVID – 19 MEASURES
CONTACT-LESS MEASURES AND CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
The hotel operates contact-less check in and check out, where guests receive a unique access code for their stay.
During your stay, to minimise contact, the housekeeping team will not enter your bedroom.
24 hour / 7 days a week on site staff is present and can be contacted via your bedroom telephone.
Following government guidelines, please wear a face mask.
ALL guests are required to wear a face covering in public areas within the hotel such as hallways and corridors.
HAND SANITISER STATIONS
There are customer hand sanitiser stations at key locations in the hotel including at main entrances.
COMMUNAL AREA CLEANING
Increased cleaning frequency of high touch points in public areas.
This includes the application of a nano antimicrobial coating on surfaces giving residual protection against many harmful pathogens and bacteria, helping to reduce the risk of cross-contamination on surfaces between regular cleanings.
Each guest bedroom is sanitised and disinfected using antiviral disinfectant effective against Coronavirus. Additionally, each room undergoes ozone disinfectant and air purification process.
In each guest bedroom the hotel has applied a nano antimicrobial coating on surfaces giving residual protection against many harmful pathogens and bacteria, helping to reduce the risk of cross-contamination on surfaces between regular cleanings.
Please familiarise yourself with the notice on the back of your bedroom door. If you hear the fire alarm, please evacuate the building immediately.
A fire marshal is present 24/7 in case of a fire emergency and to evacuate the building.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN THE HOTEL and is against the law, guests risk a £250 fine should they breach this.
This is available throughout the hotel and guest bedrooms.
Please note that the hotel cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage to valuables & vehicles left in the hotel car park.
Parking is charged at £15 per night per vehicle and should be paid for guest online check in.
Hot water is on throughout the building 24/7 and heating is automatic depending on the weather. Should you need to adjust your bedroom temperature, there are thermostats on your bedroom radiators which can be adjusted accordingly or switched off completely.
Operation of Thermostatic Heating Controls
Anti-clockwise to turn heating on and increase temperature.
Clockwise to decrease temperature and switch off.
The showers have two controls. One to switch on water and the other to adjust temperature of the water. Guests are advised to allow for a few minutes (in busy periods 5 minutes) to achieve fully hot water.
If you are in room 8, 9, 15, 16, 24 and 25 you have electric showers. Please ensure that the shower switch socket outside your bathroom is ON.
LOCK OUT/EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
If in the event you require out of hours emergency assistance, please call 01223 360246 from your bedroom telephone or silver intercom outside the building 146.
Guest luggage can be stored on the day of arrival & departure in the luggage hold located in building 146. Your pin code will continue to work until 6pm on day of departure for the front main door only to retrieve luggage.
Secure luggage hold is available for check in and check out days and is charge at £10 on either day. Your pin code operates your secure locker in the luggage room. This can be requested and paid for in advance during online check in.
The hotel cannot accept loss or damage to guest items/valuables left anywhere on the hotel premises and is left at guest risk.
